Westbourne is fast becoming the perfect place to spend an evening, with swanky new bars and restaurants springing up every month. The newest kid on the block is Circo Lounge, an ambitious self-styled “cafe bar”.
Circo Lounge has only been open for two days but it already feels like part of the furniture on Westbourne's high street. Any evidence that this used to be a newsagent has been completely erased and the cavernous interior, quirky family pictures that decorate the walls and lived-in sofas give it a bohemian, relaxed feel.
You could easily while away the hours here, turning day into night. Circo Lounge offers cracking coffee, an eclectic food menu and a bar serving colourful cocktails.
The interior is shabby chic with a stunning skylight and outside terrace that will surely come into its own during the summer months.
Westbourne has seen a surge of nightspots in the past year and this one is a welcome addition, not least for its thoughtful decor, fantastic food and ambience.
