IF you’re looking to impress, then The Edge restaurant in Bournemouth is pretty hard to beat.
Opened in early 2010, the restaurant is situated, intriguingly, on the top two floors of the Studland Dene development in Alum Chine.
When you’ve reached the fourth floor, the glass elevator doors open to reveal a lavish dining area that seriously provides the wow factor.
Surrounded by glass, the Edge boasts a panoramic view of the sea, Purbecks and Old Harry Rocks to the west, and the Isle of Wight and Hengistbury Head to the east.
The menu compliments the impressive vista with a mouth-watering selection of British and European cuisine.
Edge provides an elegant setting to eat, drink and socialise from breakfast right through to late evening.
The glamorous décor and relaxed ambience makes it an essential place to visit.
There is even an outside terrace that is open for al fresco dining during spring and summer, with uninterrupted views from Hengisbury Head to Old Harry Rocks.
Its close proximity to Bournemouth town centre also means that after-dinner bars and clubs can be reached by a stroll along the beach or a short taxi-ride.The eatery is currently offering a four-course Mother's Day lunch at £35 per person.
