BADGER & Bumble in Westbourne has been nominated in a competition to find the Deli of the Year.
Now in its second year, the awards attracted thousands of voters in 2010 and are organised by Olives et Al.
“Last year was a great success and we were heartened to hear just what people think of shops that have that unique deli atmosphere,” says Giles Henschel of Olives et Al.
“Delis are an important part of the food culture in the UK and to walk into a great deli is like no other food experience.”
The winning deli will be announced on September 5.
Nick Baines of Badger & Bumble feels like all the hard work is paying off.
“We’re delighted,” he says.
“We have made a lot of positive changes and we still have a few more up our sleeve.”
