BOSCOMBE Cliff, although depleted by Middleton Cup demands, still overcame New Milton on three rinks in Section One. Peter Wooller (16-16) denied the Cliff a maximum with a last-end leveller. A shuffled pack saw Ron Sparks, John Cave, Stuart Trees and David Halliday (22-13) spearhead Cliff’s 13-1 (88-70) victory.

Lymo ladies suffer defeat but stay top

LYMINGTON remain on top of A Division despite their home defeat by West Moors (38-41). Kay Richardson’s squad collected two points for the hosts (21-18), but that was covered by Dot Eason, Val Baxter, Judith Miles and Janet Price (23-17) who kick-started West Moors to four points.
