JAMES Bond fans have the chance to watch Daniel Craig’s latest 007 outing in Bournemouth the day before its official UK release.

Britain’s best known secret agent – last spotted dropping into the Olympic Games opening ceremony with a certain senior royal – returns to the cinema in Skyfall, next month.

Now, thanks to Bournemouth Round Table and Sony, fans can watch a preview in aid of military charity Help for Heroes.

Tickets for the Bournemouth Odeon cinema screening go on sale next Monday.

Rob Benepal, community service liaison officer of Bournemouth Round Table and event organiser, said: “I think Help for Heroes do an amazing job helping injured servicemen.

“They seemed to have filled a gap in support that was not there before.

“Since forming, I think Help for Heroes has made a real difference to the lives of troops who are hurt fighting for their country and that is fantastic.

“This is one of our biggest fundraising events and we want to make a big difference. You see a lot of support out there for the charity and I am pleased Bournemouth Round Table is also now doing its bit and I am looking forward to a busy year of fundraising.”

This is the fifth time that Bournemouth Round Table has brought special pre-release screenings to the town – each time in aid of a different charity.

Sony’s Paul Hoy, who has worked closely with the Round Table, said: “We are excited about Skyfall and feel confident that everyone involved will enjoy the opportunity and see it early.

“We hope it makes a substantial sum for Help for Heroes.”

The pre-screening takes place on October 25.
