Winter Gardens:

Leisure/cultural uses; all-weather family attraction such as cinema or museum.

Homes or hotels, up to six storeys on Exeter Road.

“Likely” car park, possible shop mobility.

Bath Road South:

Leisure/cultural uses; preferred site for water-based family attraction.

Shops, cafes, restaurants, hotel.

Improved views of the bay from Bath Road.

Retain route from Bath Road to clifftop.

Ideally developed alongside the Waterfront (Imax) complex.

Bath Road North:

Leisure/cultural uses; preferred site for all-weather family attraction such as cinema or museum.

Cafes/restaurants.

Hotel or employment uses.

Buildings lower than Pavilion.

Could include car park and shop mobility.

Westover Road:

Increase in “niche shopping”.

Cafes, restaurants, cultural uses.

Hotel, residential and employment in upper floors.

“High quality links” between Westover and Hinton Roads.

Retain facades of important buildings; height up to five storeys.

Central Car Park (off Hinton Road):

Homes, with heights comparable to Bath Hill Court.

Keep trees and vegetation surrounding site.

Development in three separate buildings.

Potential to include a public car park.

Glen Fern:

Employment, homes or education.

“Active” ground floor uses including shops, cafes.

Likely concealed car park.

Heights up to eight storeys.

Cotlands Road:

Employment/education and preferably business

start-up units.

Shops, cafes, restaurants.

Could include student accommodation.

Could include concealed car park.

Heights around 10 storeys.

Asda St Paul’s:

Shops, leisure and cultural uses.

Cafes, restaurants.

Hotel, residential, employment on upper floors.

Likely to include parking.

Heights up to eight storeys.

Scope for distinctive building near St Paul’s roundabout.

Clear route between station and rest of Lansdowne.

Leyton Mount:

Homes; heights up to six storeys.

Shops, cafes and restaurants if the scheme

extends down to Old Christchurch Road.
