Picture of the Day: Tivoli Theatre in 1980
The Tivoli theatre and cinema closed in 1980 when it was threatened with demolition. Luckily, after a lengthy campaign volunteers restored the theatre and in 1993 it was re-opened. Photo taken 20th Aug 1980, Daily Echo Photo.
