Make former cinemas into ice rink
WITH the demise of the ABC and Odeon Cinemas drawing nearer, what is being planned for these two buildings in Westover Road?
With the King’s Park ice rink stadium still only a dream, the two redundant cinema buildings would be the ideal venue for an ice arena.
Is it too late for such a project to be considered, or have the developers already made up their minds?
Westover Road is much more convenient and accessible than King’s Park.
