THE wanted man who was believed to have been spotted on a roof in Bournemouth town centre has not been traced by police.
Police swooped on the area surrounding the Odeon cinema and Premier Inn on Westover Road at 1.35pm on Tuesday searching for a man wanted for a court-related offence.
A police helicopter took part in the search and a spokesperson for Dorset Police said the helicopter was assisting with an “arrest enquiry”.
Officers were seen encircling the area in marked and unmarked police cars for over an hour and a search was carried out in the alleyways leading from Hinton Road.
No arrests have been made and there are no updates, according to a Dorset Police spokesperson.
Most of the officers were called off from the search at 3pm on Tuesday.
