THE team at Lewis-Manning Hospice are getting into the yuletide spirit preparing for their popular annual Christmas fayre on Saturday, December 6 at the Holy Angels Church, Lilliput in Poole.

Children and adults alike are sure to be delighted as Santa will be making an early appearance in his grotto on the day.

There will be a variety of stalls selling cards, gifts, seasonal items, books, cakes, plants and much more. Teas, coffees and mince pies will all be available, and there will also be a raffle.

Entry to the event is by donation, and will be taking place between 10am and noon.

Maria Tidy, fundraising manager at Lewis-Manning Hospice, said: “We can’t wait to get into the festive spirit. Everyone is welcome, and it is guaranteed to be a fun and festive family occasion.”

Now in its 22nd year of running, Lewis-Manning Hospice is a voluntary organisation that is also based in Lilliput.

The charity offers free palliative care for local people living with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses.

The functioning of the Hospice is reliant upon the generous support that comes from fundraising activities such as the Christmas fayre.
