ANY proposal which can encourage more trade in Bournemouth town centre has to be a good thing.
Tonight Bournemouth councillors will be looking at a range of measures to boost the vitality of the town centre.
These include having the right policies to ‘court’ retail investors, improve and de-clutter the public realm and exploit the potential of hotel and conference guests. And this afternoon they will be discussing multi-million-pound plans to redevelop the Winter Gardens site.
A vibrant town centre is a must, not only for residents but to attract even more visitors to Bournemouth.
