REGARDING your story about a young girl being turned away from a Wilts & Dorset bus (at Three-Legged Cross) because she did not have the extra money to pay the fare before her pre-paid ticket stop makes me see red.
The girl in question said she felt embarrassed as there were other people on the bus. Why couldn’t someone pay for her? I am sure it would have been a modest amount.
