IN 2004 I had to undergo major cancer surgery and have to thank Dr Carter and his Urology Team at RBH for my survival and which has already extended my life by seven years.
Today was a routine annual check up which showed everything to be OK.
It is not only the surgical skills but importantly the after care when a patient's condition is carefully monitored.
We should all be grateful for the quality of care that is provided, especially in the face of unjustified financial pressures and constraints which require more work to be done by even fewer people year on year.
