I READ with interest proposals from Poole Council to engage a private company to levy fines for littering. However I would urge the council to pilot this scheme against unscrupulous dog owners who allow their animals to foul our parks and recreational areas.
Despite the threat of £100 fines, many owners act with near impunity creating health risks.
