I REFER to the brothers’ stag-do chicken prank article (Echo, June 30).
In my opinion they got off lightly punishment wise, but the hotel involved must also accept some responsibility for the further suffering caused to these unfortunate chickens.
Having survived long confinements in a car then hotel bathroom, why were they thoughtlessly abandoned outside to meet their fate.
Commonsense dictates that they should have been properly looked after in a safe place until the relevant authorities were informed and the birds rescued.
