AFTER reading so many bad things about the standard of nursing homes I would just like to say my dad was fortunate enough to be a resident at Staddon Lodge in Nelson Road, Branksome.
It was taken over by a lovely local couple called Susan and Steve Richardson, who really made dad’s stay a fantastic one.
Rather than being treated like another poorly person, he became one of their family and what a lovely family they all are – residents and staff included.
They made my dad’s year there a really great one.
