THANKS are due to the church group who were litter-picking on the foreshore between Baiter Park and Poole Quay that took place on Sunday February 5.
Poole relies on a vibrant tourist industry (even on a cold February Sunday there were lots of tourists walking along the harbourside) and keeping these areas tidy is important. Some of the litter is flotsam and jetsam of course, but it is unsightly and the volunteers were doing a great job.
