I WAS so sorry to read of the demise of ex-MP Mr David Atkinson.
He was such a lovely man, always very courteous, even though my political beliefs were not the same as his. Not once did he chide me because of mine.
He was a customer of mine. He got me tickets for Prime Minister’s Question Time in the House of Commons and greeted my wife and I when we arrived.
A gentleman of the old school. It was a pleasure to have met him.
