I AM writing to express concern that the involvement of teenagers in cleaning up areas used by sexual deviants was presented as a positive news story.

I fully support young people demonstrating civic responsibility but feel there should be ethical boundaries with regard to appropriate projects.

Yes it could be seen as engendering civic responsibility but I think ethically and morally its highly questionable to involve teens and young people in clearing up after perverts and uprooting the bushes they frequent.

Surely the police should be arresting the ‘sex pests’ and Bournemouth council should consider installing CCTV in the area to prevent this type of illegal activity.
