WHILST watching the Remembrance Service on television, my heart just bursts with pride at being British.
In no other country in the world have they got the pageantry and wondrous display of brave and fine people.
To see all the services and background support in one glorious venue as the Royal Albert Hall, is unrivalled in every way.
Yet, to see Mr Cameron present, I can’t help wondering if he feels any shame, humbled or uncomfortable feelings whilst sitting there watching these fine, brave people who protect and serve our country.
Will he be shamed into reversing his decisions regarding the servicemen and women and the cuts he is making to destroy this country and the services that have been our pride for many decades? I do wonder.
Let’s all put the ‘Great’ back into Britain and be proud as we’re entitled to, by putting our mark on an alternative box when the next election comes around.
Meanwhile, Mr Cameron, have a warm, prosperous Christmas, as a great many people won’t, thanks to you and your government.
