IT must be some considerable time since any member of Christchurch council took a walk to the quay along Quay Road from the priory where, just by the small war memorial, there is a lamppost whose paintwork is in the most appalling condition showing peeled back colours which must go back generations.
Please do something about it as I am sure that, even in these times of fiscal hardship, your coffers could run to it.
