PLEASE highlight the plight of the homeless who through no fault of their own can end up on the streets. My son who was the other side of Winton had left a pub and saw in a doorway a young homeless lad the same age as himself.
The lad looked worried as my son approached him, and my son asked have you eaten or had a hot drink?
The lad said no but never asked for anything from my son.
My son bought the homeless lad food and a drink and he told my son he had no family and was homeless.
He thanked my son for his kindness.
Homeless people don’t always expect money, just a chat and a hot meal.
