HAVING seen the mural at Pokesdown Railway Station and the article in the Daily Echo, I am delighted with the work that has been done and congratulate Adam, who I met, for his excellent work.

However, I feel it is appropriate that the person who inspired this from inception 10 years ago should be congratulated on her persistence in making this happen.

Through red tape, red lights and many other bureaucratic obstructions, Mrs Caroline Read worked tirelessly for the improvement.

It’s people like this that Bournemouth needs to improve neighbourhoods for others and the mural is a fine example of that.
