I WOULD like to refer to the story front page Savaged To Death (July 25). How sorry we are to hear the sad news of the death of Jessie and send our condolences to Michel and Marie Hiernaux.
We had the same experience in June 2011. Our dog Twiggy was attacked, she survived but had a leg amputated.
When will punitive action be taken against these people who constantly let their dogs have a free rein to attack other dogs.
I ask myself, do the council really care?
