WHY has it taken so long to have a zebra crossing on the Sandbanks Road near Brittania Road?
I remember 25 years ago asking the council for a safe crossing for school children to walk to school without being driven and shoppers to walk into Ashley Cross in this exact same spot where it is being constructed.
It’s long overdue and very welcome and my grandchildren will be using it as soon as it is finished.
