Well, my advice to him is to use the beaches as apart from the summer season on two beaches only, I can walk my dogs all the year round on all the beaches in Poole.
Yet there is not one beach in Poole where my grandchildren can play on all the year round without having to share it with dogs.
This has to change and I would have no objections to Sandbanks beach having a permanent ban on dogs, which I sincerely believe to be only fair to children, provided I can still exercise my dogs on the adjoining beaches.
