I AM sure that many think the performance on Friday was wonderful.

What a great country and people to come together in such a marvellous display of happiness, unity, and joy.

Well sorry to burst the bubble but scratch the surface, or dare to challenge the power and land of royalty and the rest of the mighty establishment of British aristocracy, and I think you will find these people the most hard-nosed in the world bar none.

What we see on our televisions on Friday is hard power popularised to be warm, generous, and soft, of the people, for the people.

But then do not question the dozen palaces the royals own, together with a dozen large estates in Scotland, Wales, and England. And so too the rest of the “quiet” aristocracy with vast estates throughout the country.

Challenge any of this and I think you will find the beautiful smiles will soon vanish.

And more severely, those impressive soldiers are not just ceremonial, they are the Queen's soldiers. Their oath is to protect the “Crown”, not the British people.

The performance on Friday was for the people, the land and power stays firmly with the Royal and aristocratic families.
