YOU had a report on a lady that had a £95 parking ticket from Homebase at Branksome.
My daughter also received a ticket on the same day and it said the parking time limit was 90 minutes.
She phoned Homebase and complained that she had spent a lot of money on that day and they were very busy as it was a discount weekend. They told her to go there and see the manager.
When she got there and read the parking sign it said the limit was two hours not 90 minutes, she was over by four minutes. On speaking to someone in charge, they cancelled her ticket because she had made a purchase.
So if this lady bought something, don’t pay the ticket, go there and speak to someone. I hope this helps to save her and anyone else a lot of money.
