THE Echo Opinion column (February 26, 2011) stated that the average increase in water bills for local households from next month is 40p a day.
This is not correct. It is the total average household charge – including the increase – which is approximately 40p a day for 2011/12 in the area covered by Sembcorp Bournemouth Water.

There are many things that the company can do to help.
If any customers are having difficulty in paying their bills, we would urge them to get in touch with us as soon as possible rather than let problems build up.
