I WAS so disappointed to read in the Daily Echo that ‘Kelly’s Kitchen’ had lost its appeal at the High Court in London.
‘Kelly’s’ is such a lovely place to go to eat. The staff are really kind and the food is excellent value. It is an important part of Christchurch High street.
I understand that many libraries are having to close due to lack of support and insufficient funding for expansion. The funding given to Christchurch library was £2.2 million in 2007.
That is four years ago and the costs of the plans they have in mind for expansion will have increased considerably since then. I am concerned as to where any extra funding is going to come from.
I am just one from among hundreds of people who will be most upset if ‘Kelly’s’ has to go.
