THOSE of you who live in Dale Valley road will have noticed that all the yellow and white lines have been lovingly painted.
Bright and beautiful they are but they forgot one thing – the road surface.
For years, drivers have had to suffer bouncing up and down this road, owners of vehicles spending pounds on suspension, wheels and tyres with the owner receiving jangling bones.
One wonders what goes on in the mind of the people that order the lines before the road surface.
It may be about money but where common sense is wanted, there isn’t any to be had.
No wonder it takes approximately 80 years to resurface a road when decisions like this are made.
So I would like to give Poole council the Papering over the Cracks award for the way they have tried to hide the worst road in Poole.
