I DEPLORE those critics who continually carp about the way the Home Secretary dresses and wish they would direct their venom towards the more sinister garbs seen in Britain today.

It's a Hobson’s Choice for Theresa May, who can’t win, whatever she chooses to wear, loud or dowdy, which makes me wonder if the attacks are for political reasons rather than dress sense...or the lack of it. Eyebrows might be raised if she appeared before her peers in a leotard or Baby Doll outfit and perhaps she should, and give a two-fingered salute before speaking?

I look forward to the time when the Right Honorable lady will cease to suffer the slighting arrows of sarcasm – hopefully away from the present intense glare of scrutiny – on the opposition front bench.
