Further to the recent letters from Mr Clark (November 22) and Mr Way (November 25) concerning life in Norway.
My son lived there for his job for two years and I visited frequently.
In addition to the points mentioned by Mr Way, I found Norway to be an extremely well run country still promoting traditional and family values where the antisocial behaviour and work shy ethic so common in the UK would simply not be tolerated.
No doubt the high price of alcohol and lack of absurd European Union legislation make sensible rules easier to enforce.
