I wrote to your paper the last time BA staff announced strike action over work conditions, at which point one of your readers retorted, saying I had no idea about the conditions cabin crew work under.

I have since done some research and I understand BA have a reputation for providing some of the best staff conditions in the industry.

That is clearly not good enough for these people.

So, as if the recent volcanic ash disruption wasn’t enough, nor political and economic conditions bad enough, they have decided to go on strike again. How subtle!

I personally think it is totally self centred and shows a complete lack of consideration by the union and staff who are supporting these strikes to the consumer, the company and the economy.

I would not be surprised if this finally broke BA. Then maybe they can all wallow in the fact they don't have jobs anymore. How about being grateful for your employment for a change? I think this will put a lot of people off travelling with BA.
