THE annual Christchurch Fish and Chip Supper for less mobile Senior Citizens will be held this year on Thursday December 17.
We have enough funds to pay for the transport, food and drinks, but I’d like to put out a plea for Christmas gifts.
Popular in the past have been toiletries, gloves, scarves, slippers, biscuits, marmalade and suitable books and games.
However, the possibilities are endless. It could be time to get rid of some unwanted gifts from last year! No candles please.
Please take items, marked ‘Brenda’, into Christchurch Police Station or the Women’s Workout, above Barclays in Christchurch High Street.
Many thanks in anticipation BRENDA TRAYLEN, special constable, Christchurch Police Station
