HELLO, I’m the development officer for Poole Local Involvement Network (LINk).
The LINk is an independent network of local people and groups who want to make health and social care services better.
The LINk gives you the chance to say what you think about local services and suggest ways of improving them.
There are lots of different ways you can get involved, from filling out a survey to taking part in a project group.
You can also become part of the LINk ‘enter and view’ team – this volunteering opportunity provides you with the training and support to carry out checks on local care services.
The LINk is a way for you to influence the council and the NHS and really make a difference.
I’ll be at Poole Central Library on Thursday, August 20, from 10am to 2pm – please pop in to find out more and enter our prize draw where you can win £150 of shopping vouchers!
The LINk also has an information stand at Poole Park Festival on Sunday, August 30 and Monday 31.
You can phone the LINk on 0300 111 0102 or visit our website: makesachange.org.uk
