Letters to the editor: Thanks to all the Good Samaritans in the snow

A BIG thank you to the group of lads pushing cars up the very slippery and snowy slope into Boscombe on Thursday afternoon. I wouldn't have made it without their help. They were doing a marvellous job, pushing car after car up that slope, keeping the traffic moving. It was undoubtedly a dangerous thing to do, but I am very grateful for their help. Unfortunately, I didn't dare stop the car to thank them properly, so please may I thank them through these pages. They seemed to be enjoying themselves, too!
