FURTHER to your article in the Echo about cyclists on the seafront between Poole and Bournemouth.
I brought this problem up four to five years ago writing to the councils, and it even became a subject discussed on the lunchtime Radio 2 programme with Jeremy Vine, but nobody then would take the responsibility and nothing was done.
Surely the people who work for the councils along the promenade could be given permission to slow the cyclists down or ask them to get off their bikes when it is busy, especially when the weather is good and more pedestrians are walking along.
I hope the person involved makes a full recovery and someone will come up with a solution to this problem which is getting worse.
I rarely go down to the seafront now which is a sad thing to have to say being a resident in Poole.
