DOES anybody else out there feel unease at the current out of control urge to build that we are witnessing all around us?

Old family homes being demolished to make way for blocks of flats, corner plots and back gardens being sold off to developers and more worryingly, the gradual creep towards building in or around the countryside and our picturesque villages.

What became of green and environmental issues much discussed by politicians and local councils, more often than not, around election time?

Can we expect to see Poole Civic Centre sold off should the council merger go ahead?

With very few young people in a position to obtain a mortgage, just who are all of these new developments being built for?

And how will our chronically inept road system, already at the point of gridlock during peak hour times, cope with the increased rise in road traffic?
