AT every entrance to footpaths on Redhill Common and East Overcliff no cycling is painted on the path. Increasing numbers of cyclists either cannot read or choose to ignore these signs.
One chap, on the East Cliff, argued the paths were dual purpose.
If this is so should the no cycling signs be removed?
If it is not so will the authorities do something to stop cycling in these places?
Please don’t say it will cost money; treatment of injured pedestrians will cost a great deal more.
Imagine the cost and heartbreak if someone is killed. May we have some clarification and action please?
