AFTER enduring ‘a bad day at the office’ by the Cherries against Saints on Sunday us poor East Stand supporters had to put up with some inexplicable post match planning by either the club or the police.
After the match those of us who parked the other side of King’s Park were made to walk the whole perimeter of the stadium to get to our vehicles.
If the idea was to stop any trouble between opposing fans it plainly would not work as we met the Southampton fans head on returning to their coaches.
Cannot somebody with any common sense keep the opposing fans in the ground for 10 minutes after the match, let us disperse and then guide them to their respective coaches?
