I REFER to Mr John Kent’s letter on waste collection suggesting his waste bins are “alive with maggots”.
I have contacted Poole waste department to suggest keeping a medium-sized plastic bag in the freezer, taking remaining pieces of fat/bones/fish skin and freezing these small pieces and holding them until collection morning which will prevent smells etc.
I think it has fallen on deaf ears at council offices, but it works.
