ON THE morning of August 16, I met an old friend while shopping at Tesco, Fleetsbridge. He said it had taken 30 minutes to walk there and he intended to get a taxi home – I offered him a lift.
As I drove out of the car park, I realised that I had left my handbag on the ground where I had put it while holding bags.
Driving back round, I could not see it.
Walking into Tesco customer services, I saw my bag. It had been handed in by a man who did not leave his name and left in a hurry so a big thank you to whoever it was.
