WRITING as one who has driven motorcycles, I get exhausted continually see gasket blowing illuminated signs requesting motorists to “Think Bike” and other similar notices.
Why are we car drivers singularly saddled with the responsibility?
Tonight being Tuesday and Poole Quay buzzing with motorcyclists, many of whom are sensible owners, but a few will no doubt not “Think Motorist”.
Please can we accelerate a fair distribution of signs, some reading “Biker Think” perhaps.
Combine this with a more stringent speed monitoring presence bearing in mind bikes carry no number plate at the front and invariably a tiny rear one, more accidents will be averted.
