I would like to give a pat on the back to whatever council department is behind the seemingly cultivated expanses of wild flowers around the town on roadsides and along paths and parkways in the Bournemouth area, alongside the A338 southbound approach to Cooper Dean, in the park between Shillingstone Drive and Tolpuddle Gardens and along Wallisdown Road near the Mountbatten roundabout, to name a few with many other locations too.
In times when much criticism is directed at the council, there is also a need to give credit where it’s due.
The varying colours certainly brighten up the roads and paths and brighten up our neighbourhoods what with all the doom and gloom that we seem to be inflicted with from various sources these days.
A big ‘thank you’ to all concerned for brightening up our lives.
