IN the wake of the Brexit it needs to be made crystal clear to our neighbours in Continental Europe that we voted as we did, not because we are anti-European but because we are anti that undemocratic political monster that is the EU.
The Brexit has sent a very clear message to the ruling “elite” in Brussels that if the EU is to have even a slim chance of surviving, they are going to have to start listening to the people they have so badly served for the last 50 years.
I am convinced that in the not-too-distant future, the rest of the EU will look back on June 23, 2016, as not just the day that Britain regained its independence – but the day that the door to independence was opened for them also.
