LAST Thursday, I was in a traffic jam coming down Matchams Lane and in front of me was a red BMW X5.
The whole of the back window was plastered in stickers, declaring ‘Vote out, no to EU, out of EU’, and ‘I’m proud to be British’.
If he/she was so proud to be British and needed a 4x4, why weren’t they driving a British Range Rover, Discovery, Defender, or an Evoque?
The vehicle also had a personalised registration plate - - UKP. "Was it Nigel?", I wondered.
