Councillor John Beesley
AS a long established Bournemouth resident and at times critic of aspects of Bournemouth council’s finances, may I congratulate Councillor John Beesley, Leader of Bournemouth council, in his intention to propose to the full council later this month that it fully adopts the government’s Adult Social Care Precept which provides for a two per cent cent increase in funding for adult social care.
This is welcome news to all those who rightly feel vulnerable people should be protected.
