I WRITE in response to Mr Phillip Dunn’s letter in Saturday’s Echo.
My colleagues and I have just returned from our monthly ward surgery at Queen’s Park Pavilion, where we had meetings with several residents and are now in the process of resolving the issues raised.
Like all local councillors, we can be contacted by e-mail or phone and we hold our surgery on the last Saturday of the month.
Most, if not all, local councillors hold a regular ward surgery, details of which are normally published on the appropriate council website.
Further to this, in Queen’s Park we also carry out a regular survey of residents, knocking on a few doors around our ward every month just to check if everything is okay and there are no problems.
We also regularly leaflet the residents of Queen’s Park sending the latest out just before Christmas.

Town Hall, On Behalf of Cllr Johnson, Cllr MacLoughlin and myself
