THE furore over the employment of Basil Fozard by the Royal Bournemouth Hospital is purely down to the management system.

Mr Fozard is fully entitled to retire.

Following that he is fully entitled to begin any job he is able to obtain.

However, The management and publicity departments of the hospital trust have managed to present this employment in such a way as to arise antipathy in the public.

Although it is the wrong solution I fear the way forward will have to be for the hospital to appoint a different clinical manager.
